Therapeutic Interventions
A Cognitive Behavioural Therapy framework is implemented, with Solution Focused Therapy, Family Therapy, Trauma therapy and other therapeutic perspectives integrated as appropriate. All interventions are meticulously tailored to each client's distinct neurodiverse perspectives, values, and needs. This individualized approach is applicable to individuals both with, and without, developmental conditions.
A psychological intervention is a structured, evidence-based therapeutic approach aimed at enhancing an individual’s mental health, emotional wellbeing, and behavioural functioning. These interventions use specific therapeutic techniques—such as cognitive, behavioural, emotional —delivered by a trained professional to help individuals understand their experiences, reduce distress, build skills, and make meaningful and lasting changes in their daily lives.
My work is grounded in a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework, complemented by Solution Focused Therapy where appropriate. All interventions are individually tailored to each person’s thinking style, values, and needs, and are suitable for individuals with or without neurodevelopmental conditions. During the initial assessment session, we identify goals, strengths, challenges, and expectations to ensure a clear and focussed therapeutic plan.
The therapeutic approach is adapted to accommodate each person’s unique cognitive style, including neurodiverse ways of thinking.
